Last week we looked out the dining hall window and saw smoke coming up from across our lake. After watching it for a few minutes we called it in to let them know there was a fire. Only a few minutes later a chopper came flying over it, put down it's bucket and set to work putting the fire out. They called us back to thank us for notifying them and let us know it was taken care of! We are thankful for God's protection and for those who work hard to protect us from forest fires!
Close to the bottom center you can see a fire called 'ridge'. This is the fire across the lake from PRBC that we called in.
